c895 Mornings with Drew Baily has the purrfect way to start off your morning – The Meow Factor! Each month we bring on Rae from the pawsitively awesome MarCating Meownager at NEKO Cat Cafe to highlight one adoptable cat a month on air who could turn out to be the big star to take a permanent residency in your home!

This March our adoptable cat feature this month is…KATNISS EVERDEEN!

 Katniss is the smartest girl who is secretly a goofball! 

She’s been with us for quite some time and we know she’s extra special but she often gets overlooked by visitors. She’s not a lap cat with strangers and doesn’t care for wand toys, but she looooves pets, treats, and getting streeeetttched out by her humans! She’s a total girls’ girl for both cats and humans, and she will love you furever if you let her smell your breath.

Katniss has a touch of pica and craves forbidden snacks. She will need someone who is prepared to cat/baby purroof and make sure she doesn’t have access to silicone, strings, feathers, tin foil (or foil-like toys), as she would happily eat it all!

Every great tour needs a headliner, and NEKO’s March Cat of the Month pin features the ceiling dwelling queen: Truffle Pig!

Truffle Pig is NEKO Bellingham’s tallest tiny girl! When this fluffy chatterbox arrived at NEKO, she took up residence in our ceiling. After weeks of surveying the terrain from above, Truffle Pig came down to reveal her biiiig purr, her massive appetite (girl demolishes a wet food can), and her need for one million hugs and kisses a day! Now, TP is crawling all over the floor and the ceiling like the Spider Pig is.
