Our adoptable cat feature this April is…PECAN TURTLE!

More About Pecan Turtle:

Two cats are lounging together. One is a black cat lying on its back with a relaxed expression, while the other is partially visible and has a tabby pattern. There are shelves in the background displaying various merchandise. Pecan Turtle is a tiny 3-year old black cat at NEKO Seattle who has the widest-set eyes and the most turtle-like behaviors. She’s an expert hider. Between her foster home and NEKO, she spent a couple weeks preferring to live in a cubby with her whole body tucked safely under a blanket. Now, Pecan Turtle is coming out of her shell! She’s still unsure about pets, but she LOVES to play. She loves chasing a wand toy and adorably entertains herself, too! Turtle’s been loving the other kitties and she’s no stranger to a cuddle puddle. She seems to have a thing for the grey-and-white boys, who are lovely in tolerating her adoration!

Pecan Turtle and her funny little face are adoptable meow! She’d love to live with cat savvy folks who are cool with her taking her time to warm up, and she’d thrive with other cats who could show her how to be a house cat!

Every great tour needs a headliner, and NEKO’s March Cat of the Month pin features the nicest young man at NEKO Seattle: ZEST!

He’s a true purrfessional in the cat room! Zestie Bestie is always offuring the newbies a warm tummy to lay on and he’s never happier than when we get him a kitten to raise! When this floppy guy isn’t mentoring the youth, he kindly purrtects the cat room from window dogs by confronting them with his most disappurroving posture. He’s now the first cat in NEKO hisstory to be Cat of the Month three times! Couldn’t have gone to a more deserving guy!

Zest’s pin is so him! He’s wearing a cute ruffly collar fit for a boy who looks like the ghost of a European prince. He’s greeting his butterfly furiends as they emerge for spring, like he did in this video!
